Gifts

We’ve built our homes, our lives are full,
Our children, our love — our hearts are whole.
So gifts of things, while kind and sweet,
Are not what makes our wedding complete.

The greatest gift, we hope you see,
Is simply sharing this day with we.
Your laughter, your hugs, your presence too,
Are treasures far more dear than any “thing” could do.

But if your heart insists to bless,
We’d love your help with our happiness:
A little contribution, to travels afar,
To make memories beneath foreign stars.
